Prognosis
DJS is a lifelong but benign condition with a normal life expectancy. The jaundice fluctuates in intensity and may disappear completely, only to recur later. The prognosis is excellent, and despite a lack of treatment, there is no evidence of progressive hepatic damage.[3]
