Patients should be instructed to follow up at regular intervals. In the event of any dyspnoea, ankle swelling, palpitations, dizziness, syncope, any evidence of systemic embolisation, fatigue, or prolonged fever, they are to promptly contact their physician or visit the nearest hospital.
