Cryoglobulinemia

Patients with significant symptoms of extremity rash or purple discoloration should practice heat conservation. Encourage patients to maintain their core temperature, in addition to the peripheries. Gloves and glove warmers may be considered in cooler climates.

Advise patients to avoid over-the-counter analgesic agents, especially if there is significant renal and hepatic involvement.
