There are no known interventions to prevent the occurrence of Turner syndrome.

Counseling regarding a healthy lifestyle and dietary manipulations may help prevent cardiovascular complications in women with Turner syndrome. Ovarian hormone-replacement treatment in patients with premature ovarian failure helps reduce the risk of severe premature osteoporosis.
