Sarcoidosis

The overall prognosis of pulmonary sarcoidosis is good. Spontaneous regression of radiographic abnormalities occurs in 55% to 90% of patients with stage I disease. Prognosis is less favorable among those with more advanced stage at diagnosis: 40% to 70% of patients with stage II, and about 20% of patients with stage III disease.
