Oral candidiasis

Liver function tests (LFTs) require frequent monitoring in patients taking systemic azoles and caspofungin. Monitoring of blood urea nitrogen and serum creatinine at baseline, then frequently, is required in patients treated with amphotericin-B, in addition to monitoring of complete blood count, electrolytes, and LFTs.
