Patients should be followed up postintervention and if one treatment does not produce or maintain a satisfactory outcome, then it may be possible to repeat that treatment or another treatment may be tried. For example, radiofrequency to the soft palate and tongue base can be repeated, but if it is still ineffective then a mandibular advancement splint (MAS) may be tried.
