Patients should report fever, recurrence of presenting symptoms, signs of anaemia, and chemotherapy-induced adverse effects to their physician immediately. Constipation is common due to vincristine use and should be managed prophylactically with stool softeners. Enemas should be avoided as they can lead to perianal abscess especially in high-risk patients.
