Secondary prevention

Regular evaluation and examinations are necessary. Patient reporting of suspicious symptoms is the best way to diagnose problems with bradycardia and to correlate them with symptoms. Patients should guide practitioners regarding their symptoms and medicines that may be associated with bradycardia.[20] In patients aged ≥70 years, caution and careful monitoring should be applied when initiating or altering the dose of rate control medication to avoid drug-related bradycardia.[21]
