Central airway obstruction

All patients with a history of tracheobronchial obstruction should carry a bracelet or a card identifying them as patients with complicated airways or (if applicable) indwelling airway stents.

Patients must be educated about their symptoms and know when it is necessary to seek professional help promptly.
