Seborrheic keratosis

As seborrheic keratosis is of benign nature, no follow-up is required for confirmed seborrheic keratosis, but patients should have newly appearing lesions examined by their physician to rule out malignant melanomas. Often patients will not receive any treatment, but may elect for treatment either for cosmetic reasons or because lesions are irritated and inflamed.
