Monitoring
Attenuated WAS, if asymptomatic, can be clinically monitored on an annual basis. Monitor infection, eczema, and bleeding history. Check for development of autoimmunity or suspicious lymphadenopathy. Annual check of complete blood count, immunoglobulin levels (IgG, IgA, and IgM), lymphocyte subsets, and proliferate responses. Other investigations only as clinically indicated.
Severe WAS or symptomatic attenuated WAS: tailor regularity of follow-up according to clinical need. Monitor infections, eczema, and bleeding episodes. Check for development of autoimmunity or suspicious lymphadenopathy. Annual check of FBC, immunoglobulin levels (IgG, IgA, and IgM), lymphocyte subsets, and proliferate responses. Other investigations only as clinically indicated.
