Wiskott-Aldrich syndrome

Patients with severe WAS should seek prompt medical attention for episodes of infection, particularly fever with no focus. All patients should seek urgent medical attention for mucosal bleeding or after significant trauma, especially head injury. Patients with thrombocytopenia should avoid contact sports. In general, patients should come for early follow-up if there has been deterioration in any aspect of their clinical condition.
