Convalescent serologies should be obtained 2 to 3 weeks after the initial visit to confirm 4-fold increase of specific antibody titers and confirm diagnosis.[69][71][77][101] Any other monitoring depends on whether the patient develops a severe disease with complications that require medical follow-up.
