After successful treatment of HL, patients must be advised of possible treatment-related toxicities and other sequelae of their diagnosis. Provide patients with a treatment summary, including details of radiation therapy; organs at risk; and the cumulative dosage of anthracycline that they received.[33]
The importance of smoking cessation, breast cancer screening, and aggressive management of cardiac risk factors must be reinforced at follow-up appointments.
