Oxaboroles

A novel class of antiprotozoal drugs that show promise for the treatment of human African trypanosomiasis (HAT). Acoziborole has been studied in a phase 2/3 trial. Results are being analysed before the submission of a marketing authorisation to the European Medicines Agency.
