Down's syndrome

Once Down's syndrome (DS) is diagnosed, the child's parents should be provided with up-to-date printed material and resources. Referral to parent support groups and a local DS clinic is highly recommended. A directory of local support groups can be located through support group association internet resources. These include the Down's Syndrome Association, the National Down Syndrome Society, the National Down Syndrome Congress, the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, and the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network.
