Migraine headache in children

There are no reliable data regarding the prognosis of paediatric migraine diagnosed by International Headache Society (IHS) criteria. Spontaneous remission after puberty may occur, and migraine headaches may cease before the age of 25 years in 23% of people, although by the age of 50 years >50% of people remain affected.
