Amoebiasis

Patients treated for amoebiasis should be warned of the side effects of the medications that they are receiving, of the need to adhere to the follow-up course of a luminal agent to eradicate colonisation (and thereby prevent relapse), and of the symptoms and signs of complications of amoebiasis.
