Crimean-Congo haemorrhagic fever

Clinical and laboratory improvement of the patient have been accepted as sufficient criteria for patient discharge, and a negative PCR result is not required. General criteria for discharge of patients are absence of active bleeding, normal levels of thrombocytes and leukocytes, declining trend of liver enzymes and other biochemical tests, and absence of other complications such as nosocomial infections.
