Epler and Colby pathological criteria[1][2]
The pathological features of OP include:
Organised polypoid granulation inflammatory tissue in the distal bronchiole airways, respiratory bronchioles, alveolar ducts, and alveoli
Absence of extensive interstitial fibrosis
Absence of traction bronchiectasis
Absence of histological honeycombing.
