Antiviral therapies
Potential targets for novel anti-enteroviral therapies exist, but currently there is no specific antiviral therapy available for the treatment of any enterovirus. Although antiviral drugs that have significant activity against a wide range of enteroviruses and rhinoviruses have been tested for activity against strains of enterovirus D68 (EV-D68), none has activity against EV-D68 at clinically relevant concentrations.[12][52]
