Monitoring
Patients with pityriasis lichenoides should be evaluated on a regular basis (every 4-6 weeks) by a clinician to monitor the status of their disease. When the disease is under control, the visits can be spaced out suitably. If any changes in skin eruption occur, these should be biopsied for re-evaluation. During the visits, clinical history should address the signs and symptoms, and a full skin examination, as well as a lymph node evaluation, are recommended. Management should be adjusted appropriately based on the response, side effects, and complications.
