Unified Huntington's Disease Rating Scale (UHDRS)[53][54]

A functional scale that assigns scores of the judged capacity of a patient to work, handle financial affairs, manage domestic responsibilities, and perform daily activities. The need for care is also assessed.

Stage 1: patients with minor changes in work performance and handling finances.

Stage 2: patients with marginal work capacity, problems with financial duties, and impaired domestic capacities.

Stage 3: patients unable to manage work, finances, or domestic chores.

Stage 4: patients needing skilled nursing.
