Anorexia nervosa

Height and weight of a girl between the ages of 10 and 14.5 years, charted against age percentiles. She fell ill at 12 years of age and began losing weight. She was not diagnosed until 2 years later, at the age of 14. The weight loss was difficult to recognise by the physician as the patient did not gain in height over the 2-year period.
