Tuberculosis (TB)

  • Patients with known or presumed TB should be advised to remain physically separated from other patients and especially those with HIV infection.[258]

Toxoplasmosis

  • People living with HIV should be advised not to eat raw or under-cooked meat; they should also wash their hands after contact with raw meat and after gardening or other contact with soil; they should wash fruits and vegetables well before eating them raw.
