Patient discussions
If fever returns, patients should seek medical attention in order to treat relapse (usually occurs within 2 weeks of completion of therapy). Patients should be careful to avoid spread of infection by adhering to rigorous personal hygiene, mainly proper handwashing after being in toilets. There is no need for isolation of the patient.
