Monitoring
Most patients recover fully, although in severe presentations around 30% may have impaired neurological function and 6% may have persistent paralysis.[2]
There is no requirement for the routine follow up of a patient who has recovered from an acute episode of confirmed TBE without neurological or other obvious complications.
