IEEE Knoxville Quantum Computing/Quantum Information Group

Mission:
The mission of the group is to bring together students working on and interested in quantum computing/quantum information science research and create a thriving quantum computing network by facilitating discussions and collaborations, and hosting informational seminars and workshops, and forging connections with professionals in the area working in the field of Quantum computing and information.

More Than Two Years
Main Activities:
Main activities would be to host seminars by students in the group, host talks from faculty, scientists and professionals, participate in quantum computing hackathons by forming local teams, conduct workshops on quantum programming languages and other tools, initiate collaborative research projects, have journal/literature review discussions, start an alumni network.
