- To foster new developments in Blockchain-based methods for microgrids operation and markets, and to disseminate the results using innovative teaching approaches.

- Main Activities:
- 1- Research: a) Study blockchain concepts. b) Review recent applications of blockchain in power systems. c) Develop blockchain-based methods for market operations in microgrids. d) Develop blockchain-based methods for operational management in microgrids. e) Address various types of microgrids, including DC, AC balanced, AC unbalanced, and hybrid, as well as different kinds of renewable energy resources. Education: 2 - Create courses and resources to disseminate the developed blockchain concepts. a) Organize courses, webinars, and seminars on blockchain in microgrids. b) Employ innovative teaching approaches in educational activities. c) Publish papers in journals and present findings at conferences.
