Room 501 Hall Ln, Minneapolis, MN, United StatesWe are proud to launch the Mentorship Pilot Program, an initiative developed by the IEEE Magnetics Society Chapters Committee, Education Committee, and Students in Magnetism (SiM) to foster an additional avenue to professional growth and career development within the magnetics community. Through this pilot initiative, mentees will receive valuable guidance and support to navigate their careers, while mentors will have the opportunity to refine their leadership and coaching skills by sharing their expertise. Please note that this program does not involve research mentorship. For this onsite meeting, Pizza and Refreshments will be provided. This program aims to: - Enhance mentees’ professional skills and career readiness - Support self-awareness, confidence, and emotional intelligence - Expand professional networks for both mentors and mentees - Facilitate career guidance - Build a supportive and engaged professional community Who Can Participate? - Mentees: MSc candidates, PhD candidates, and early-career postdocs - Mentors: Professionals with at least six years of post-PhD experience or those in academic/industry leadership roles (e.g., Assistant Professor, Senior Scientist) Co-sponsored by: University of Minnesota Room: 287, Bldg: Amundson Hall, University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States
