The Lone Star LMAG has been partnering with the San Antonio Museum of Science and Technology for several years.
The group’s meeting on August 15, 2024, featured Dr. Ernest Franke, the LMAG coordinator of volunteer efforts at SAMSAT, shown here with Scott Atkinson, LMAG Treasurer (on right). The Lone Star LMAG has contributed more than 5,000 hours to the museum since 2017. Most recently, they worked with museum staff in preparing space to accommodate the IEEE History Center Armstrong Radio Exhibit.
