The IEEE Tokyo Section Career Development Workshop was held Saturday, November 16, 2024 at the Kikai Shinko Kaikan building in Tokyo, which was completed in 1966 with the aim of promoting the mechanical industry in Japan.
Now in its 15th year, this workshop aims to support career development for students, early-career engineers, and researchers.
LIfe Member Committee member Professor Imai provided an overview of the Group Mentoring Initiative. Closing remarks were made by Professor Tsuda, R10 Life Member Coordinator.
The Tokyo LMAG sponsored the event which drew 23 participants: 13 students and 10 professionals, five of whom were Life Members.
