Sustainable Planting Initiative: Honoring Earth Day with IEEE PES
An environmental planting activity to promote sustainability and celebrate Earth Day with IEEE PES. This initiative aims to engage volunteers in hands-on action to raise awareness about environmental responsibility and the importance of green spaces in urban communities. Participants will contribute to the maintenance and expansion of an urban garden, fostering biodiversity, improving air quality, and encouraging sustainable living practices. The event also seeks to inspire future engineers to integrate environmental values into their professional paths, highlighting the role of power and energy engineers in building greener cities.

Sustainable Planting Initiative: Honoring Earth Day with IEEE PES
In celebration of Earth Day on April 22nd, this activity invites participants to join a meaningful environmental initiative focused on reforestation. In collaboration with Grupo Fenicia, we will carry out the planting of multiple trees in designated areas, contributing to the restoration of green spaces and the promotion of biodiversity.
This hands-on experience is designed to raise awareness about the importance of environmental stewardship, climate action, and the role that each individual can play in building a more sustainable future. Participants will learn about native species, proper planting techniques, and the long-term impact of reforestation efforts.
Reforestar la Tierra is not only a symbolic act in honor of our planet but also a practical step toward environmental regeneration. All are welcome to participate and be part of this collective effort to give back to the Earth.
