4th Italian Radar and Remote Sensing GTTI Workshop

The workshop is co-sponsored by IEEE AESS Italy Chapter and IEEE GRSS Italy Chapters.

Organized by the Italian Information and Communication Technology Group (GTTI), on 28-29 May 2025, at the University of Sannio in Benevento, will be held a workshop to serve as a key forum for the Italian Radar and Remote Sensing community. 

The workshop aims to foster the exchange of cutting-edge research, facilitates discussions on emerging challenges, and encourages collaboration among experts in the field.

Type of presentations

Speakers will present the research group activities through oral talks (15-20 minutes depending on the number of presentations). More than one presentation will be possible from the same university/institution. 

PhD students (third year) will present their individual activity in the poster session on the 29th of May. 

 

Topics will include (but not limited to)

Radar Signal modeling and Data Processing

Cognitive Radar systems

Integrated Sensing and Communication (ISaC)

Use of signals of opportunity in radar and remote sensing

Radar Systems for Foliage/Ground/Building Penetration

SAR interferometry, polarimetry and tomography

Multispectral and Hyperspectral Remote Sensing

Image processing and classification in remote sensing

Machine Learning and AI in Remote Sensing

Quantum Computing applied to Remote Sensing

Data fusion Techniques

Big Geo data 

 

The Workshop includes free-of-charge events organized with:

1) the IEEE Italy WIE (Women in Engineering)

2) the IEEE Italy Young Professionals

3) the IEEE GRSS IDEA Technical Committee 

and junior researchers and PhD students are invited to attend.
