MS Robotics Competition at USM

Dear IEEE Mississippi Section Member,

 

Below is the announcement of a robotic competition between the universities in the IEEE Mississippi section on Saturday, Feb. 22 from 8 am to 4 pm at the University of Southern Mississippi which you are invited to attend. This competition is a preparation of the Mississippi universities for the larger competition at SoutheastCon in North Carolina at the end of March.

 

Please let Dr. Wan know if you are going by tomorrow if you would like to have lunch at the event.

We will be hosting the first annual Mississippi Robotics Competition at USM in Eagle Maker Hub.

There is a change in venue to Eagle Maker Hub from the Thad Cochran Center Ballroom. I will need a headcount for lunch by Wednesday.

 

Competition

8am – 9am                         Team arrival and registration – EMH Lobby

9am – 10am                      1st work hour – EMH IoT Lab

10am – 10:30am             First Bot Check (no work on bots at this time) – EMH IoT Lab

10:30am – 11:30am      2nd work hour – EMH IoT Lab

11:30am – 12:30pm      Lunch (no work on bots at this time) – The Fresh Company

12:30pm – 1:30pm         Teams work on bots – EMH IoT Lab

IEEE Southeast Conference Logistics meeting – EMH Lobby

1:30pm-2pm                     Second Bot Check & Sequestering

2pm – 3pm                         Run 1

3pm – 4pm                         Run 2
