Introduction to the Work of an Electrical Engineer| Exploring the Role and Career Paths in Electrical Engineering🔌

As electrical engineering students, we often struggle to understand what our future work will look like and what career options are available to us. We know U = RI, and that electricity sometimes goes bzz bzz, but beyond that, the practical aspects of our field can seem unclear. That’s why it is crucial to have someone as experienced as M. Ziad Boustany to guide us through the realities of an engineer’s work.

To ensure that everyone can attend, we will hold a seminar during the lunch break at CST-SCI01 on February 19, 2025, from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM. Boustany, the CEO and Founder of S.& A.S. Ltd, will share his journey in electrical engineering, from founding his company to specializing in the development and production of electronic controllers. He will emphasize the importance of maintaining international quality standards and introduce us to advancements in automatic pick-and-place and optical inspection machines for SMD technology in Lebanon.

This event will provide us with a clearer perspective on the diverse opportunities within electrical engineering, bridging the gap between theory and real-world application.
