CSUDH's Assistant Professor of Computer Science, Dr. Sahar Hooshmand,  will present a talk on Deep Learning in BioInformatics. Light refreshments will be provided.

Biography:

Dr. Sahar Hooshmand is an Assistant Professor in the department of Computer Science at the California State University Dominguez Hills, teaching since Fall 2021. She has completed my Ph.D. under supervision of Dr. Sharma Thankachan in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Central Florida. Her research focuses on String Algorithms, Text Compression and Bioinformatics. For more information about her research, please see her Google Scholar and her dblp.
