The IEEE CS/CIS Jordan Chapter will sponsor this event financially and technically. The event is a cypersecurity competition that consists of two stages:
- Cyber security Competition (February 16): A live, high-energy challenge at Hashemite University, where 40–45 teams (each consisting of three participants) will compete to solve real world cybersecurity problems. The top 10 teams will advance to the next stage.
- Penetration Testing Challenge: The top 10 teams will tackle simulated real-world systems, uncovering vulnerabilities, exploiting weaknesses, and documenting their findings. This stage will identify the top 5 teams, who will proceed to the final phase.
The teams in the competiton are from the Middle east region. The arrangements and the logistics of the competition are carried out by the CS chapter at the IEEE Hashemite University.
