Advancing Healthcare Security with DevSecOps: Initiatives and Industry Insights
In the evolving landscape of healthcare technology, ensuring the security and efficiency of software delivery is paramount. This talk delves into how DevSecOps practices can be integrated into the development of scalable and secure microservices for event-driven platforms. It also explores interactions between natural language processing (NLP) with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools to automate and optimize service deployments.
As we deep dive into the talk, we will discuss a novel framework that has been battle tested to enhances accessibility and efficiency. We will also discuss the strategic shift from ECS (Elastic Container Service) deployments to centralized EKS (Elastic Kubernetes Service) deployments, which has led to significant cost reductions and operational efficiencies. Overall, will explore the unique challenges faced in the healthcare industry, including stringent compliance requirements and the critical need for robust data protection.
Attendees will gain insights into practical strategies for implementing DevSecOps within their organizations and how advanced NLP techniques can be utilized to reduce service deployment time. The session will also highlight broader industry perspectives, offering best practices and discussing how DevSecOps can enhance operational efficiency, improve security posture, and ultimately lead to better patient outcomes.
