Machines used in agricultural, construction, forestry, and earth-moving machinery industries have become more complex and more reliant on sophisticated electronics for control of operation, efficiency and reliability.  The electronic systems used on a machine are many times developed by different suppliers and are interconnected with a communications bus.  These electronic systems must operate in harmony with each other and within a crowded electromagnetic environment.  This presentation will discuss the Who, What, Where, Why, and How to get these complex machines tested for Electromagnetic Interference, Electromagnetic Compatibility, and to their target markets.

This event is being hosted by the IEEE Central Illinois Section and the IEEE Bradley University Student Branch.
