Tosten Gruhn of Bender
Biography:
Torsten Gruhn began his career as a certified motor rewinder in Germany. His early work spanned a broad range of electrical systems, including those that rotate, generate, or transform power.
After military service, he pursued a degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power generation, transmission, and distribution (T&D). His current role emphasizes new business development, sales, and support for emerging industries, particularly in electrical safety and power management.
Torsten’s expertise in ground fault protection extends across renewable energy sources such as solar, fuel cells, and wind, as well as traditional power sectors including nuclear, coal, and gas. He is a strong advocate for the development of electric vehicles (EVs) and the EV charging industry, ensuring safety standards are met as the industry evolves.
His work also encompasses projects across land, aeronautical, and maritime applications, serving both civilian and military sectors. His commitment to advancing electrical safety in these fields continues to drive innovation and industry-wide progress.
