Sr. Manager of Electrical Engineering
Biography:
Manav Singh is the Senior Manager of Electrical Engineering at Helion Energy where he leads the development of advanced pulsed power systems capable of direct fusion energy recovery. Prior to joining Helion, Manav was at SpaceX for 7 years where he designed the electrical architecture for early Raptor engines and suborbital Starships and also led the EMC design effort to robustify the Falcon and Dragon vehicles against lightning and re-entry plasmas. He holds a BS and MS in physics; his master’s thesis simulated the magnetohydrodynamic behavior of plasma accretion onto magnetized neutron stars. Manav’s experience across electromagnetic systems, pulsed power electronics, and multidisciplinary systems engineering positions him uniquely for the challenges in fusion energy.
