Larry Doyle of Legrand

Topic:

Overhead Busway

As the demand for high-performance, scalable, and energy-efficient data infrastructure grows, optimizing the power distribution in data centers and high power demand applications becomes increasingly critical. Overhead busways provide a solution for enhancing flexibility, safety, and efficiency in power delivery.

In this session, participants will gain an understanding of:

  1. The Fundamentals of Overhead Busway Systems – What overhead busways are, how they work, and how they differ from traditional power distribution methods.

  2. Benefits for Data Centers – How these systems improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and offer enhanced cooling opportunities by freeing up floor space.

  3. Design Considerations – Key factors in selecting and installing an overhead busway, including capacity, safety, and future scalability for growing data center demands.

  4. Case Studies and Real-World Applications – Insights into how various organizations are successfully integrating overhead busway solutions in their data center operations.

By the end of this presentation, participants will be equipped with the knowledge to assess, design, and implement overhead busway systems.
