First country-wide online condition monitoring system for MV switchgears on the Singapore distribution network (video)

Over the past few years, SP Group, Singapore’s national grid operator, has designed, developed, and installed an online condition monitoring system for distribution network substations in the field in cooperation with Doble Engineering, a company with a deep background in condition monitoring systems particularly for High-Voltage (HV) electrical assets. This webinar aims to describe the approach taken in the design of the online monitoring system to retrieve and exploit information coming from measurement techniques such as Partial Discharge to support asset management in planning the maintenance operations. Moreover, real field case studies obtained during the operation of the system will be described.
