The IEEE Fellow is the highest grade that IEEE members may aim at and recognizes two individual significant technical contributions to the profession and society at large. The IEEE Fellow Elevation requires a nomination process performed by a nominator, followed by an evaluation process at society level and then at IEEE level.
The main goal of this tutorial is to provide a comprehensive presentation of the evaluation process and on how to write a successful nomination for IEEE Fellow Elevation, emphasizing the best practices on how to put in light the nominee’s contributions. This tutorial is then dedicated to both nominators and nominees, and provides the last changes performed at IEEE level in the last two years on the IEEE Fellow Elevation process.
