Q: How is IEEE your professional home?

A: IEEE is more than an organization; it’s a bridge that connects people, ideas and cultures around the world. When I led the IEEE student branch at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora (UFJF) and was able to take knowledge beyond the classrooms, it was a transformative experience. The opportunity to impact lives through sharing knowledge and creating connections with people from different parts of the planet with the same purpose made me feel that IEEE is, indeed, a professional home. It’s a space where we belong, where we grow together, and where we commit ourselves not only to technological advancements but also to transforming the world.
