Welcome to the British Educational Research Association (BERA) journals hub on the Wiley Online Library. For BERA’s own website, please visit www.bera.ac.uk.

BERA is a membership association and learned society committed to advancing research quality, building research capacity and fostering research engagement. Since its inception in 1974, the Association has expanded into an internationally renowned organisation with both UK and non-UK based members. Aspiring to be the home of all educational researchers in the UK, BERA provides opportunities for everyone active in the field of education to contribute through its world-class conference and other events, its active peer community organised around 35 special interest groups, its blog and other publications series, and a range of awards, grants and fellowships.

The Association is proud to publish a suite of four highly regarded and internationally influential peer-reviewed journals in partnership with Wiley. Together they reflect and capture the quality and diversity of research and scholarship in every aspect of the field of education across the world, and inform the development of policy and practice by promoting the best-quality evidence produced by educational research. Our journals welcome contributions – just as BERA welcomes members – from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, theoretical orientations, methodological approaches, sectoral interests and institutional affiliations throughout the world.

Access to all four of our journals, and to the European Educational Research Journal, is a benefit of BERA membership. Current BERA members should log in to their account on bera.ac.uk in order to access these journals on the Wiley Online Library.
