The studies presented here are not exhaustive, but the results given are representative of those in the literature, particularly with respect to the maxima and minima.
Note: (1) The sign of the correlation has been ignored, but in each case the direction of difference in SGRQ score was appropriate to the disease marker against which it was tested. (2) All the results shown are significant at p<0.01 except for those obtained with the FEV1 (see text). (3) A difference in score of 4 units is clinically significant.
