Postural blood pressure examination

Demonstration of a standardised method to evaluate a patient for orthostatic hypotension.

From BMJ Learning: A lying and standing blood pressure test is a simple bedside test that often takes days to be completed if requested, but you can easily do it yourself. Lie the patient flat for at least five minutes and take their blood pressure, then stand the patient up and take a blood pressure reading after one minute, and then again after three minutes.
